Kitchen #046: Opening and Kitchen Redesign

Kitchen #046: Opening and Kitchen Redesign

The clients wanted to keep their current kitchen but open it to the living room by removing the wall. We demolished the load-bearing wall, reinforcing the structure with a steel beam and pillar. The floor was refinished at the demolition points, and the beam and pillar were clad in plasterboard.

The old kitchen entrance was closed off to position a new storage unit extending from the existing kitchen. Around the metal pillar, we created an island with two snack seats, an integrated outlet in the countertop, a wine cellar, and drawers. The new white fronts with white handles blend perfectly with the existing kitchen.

A new floor was installed in the kitchen, spotlights were integrated into the metal beam’s casing, and the ceilings and walls were repainted. The renovation involved several trades: electrician, mason, plasterer, painter, tiler, and installer, ensuring a complete and meticulous renovation.

Customer review

We entrusted the renovation of our kitchen to Marie and Frédéric and were fully satisfied with the final result. Excellent advice, great follow-up, very responsive. We had a small issue with one trade, but Dal Moro handled it perfectly, finding solutions. Fortunately, they were there. No bad surprises on the bill either. A big thank you and see you at the next renovation 🙂
